Your optimistic forecast

After months of being locked down, months of social isolation and reflection, New Zealand is now in a great position, which is level one and almost back to ‘normal’.

While a few people debate the effectiveness of our government, I celebrate.

I'm grateful for all the businesses that can now reopen that were previously operating under restrictions.

Because as New Zealand, as NZ Inc, we are now in a very unique position.

If you had a look at the NZ stock exchange since the announcement there have been some amazing increases.

The world is looking to us and our businesses are in an extremely unique position to stand out and become the partners that other countries want to do business with.

While I don't want to sound naive and understand that a lot of businesses are still in strife. We are in a unique position and we can design what our next three years will look like.

Over the past 18 months, I have worked with a select few business owners and their tech solutions as part of Selfstarters Academy. What we have learnt is the power of visualising company revenues.  In particular the three-year forecasts. The business owners who had a crystal clear three-year revenue goal were able to create sales targets that put them in a great position today.

I want to enable you to do the same.

To celebrate and help you to re-visit your goals I wanted to share our Selfstarters visualisation process with you.

It’s based on Ash Maurya’s traction modelling.

It’s a powerful process to break down your three-year revenue in actionable sales targets. And trust me when I say that this is a powerful tool to help you as we come out of lockdown and into level one.

I challenge you to rethink your goals and create a new, more optimistic sales plan for your business. You will be surprised with where you will end up in 3-12 months time.

Put that sprinkle of optimism into your cup of coffee today,

Flavio Hangarter
